Louis and Toby repaired this door on the Tribal Center. They used steel reinforcing to allow interior dead bolting.

 The weather has warmed up and we have been enjoying the outside in the evenings.

 It's berry season and the boys were out picking a treat.

This barge carries 250,000 gallons of fuel oil.  It pumped over 100,000 gallons for the city of Alakanuk.
This lady is the clerk in the Native Store.




 A Yellow Warbler, found dead on the street by Wilbur.
 Several wonderful Yupik ladies, who live here in the village.
 A temporary holding cemetery. When a death in the winter occurs, the family waits for summer to bury in the permanent cemetery.

Great progress! The housed look so different from when I, Ricky, was there. I miss the pace of life up there and the beautiful nature.
