Mennonite Disaster Service Hawaii

Repair and Rebuilding, that's what we are doing, here in Hawaii. A Tropical Storm damaged many homes in the Puna area, last fall. MDS is actively involved in rebuilding two homes. This is a rain Forrest area with 114 inches of rain a year. We have several showers a day which has hampered the work somewhat. Wilbur has been laying pergo floor and when it's not raining, building a lani. We are working at different homes and Mary has just completed two days of painting of porch railing and baseboard.
Today, we celebrated 53 years of marriage. This picture is from our 50th celebration.
