We went to South Padre island on Sunday afternoon and the waves were beautiful. We enjoyed pizza and the Super Bowl at Butch and Esther's Condo.

The Yucca is in full bloom in the Rio Grand Valley.
This is the office of our RV park. Love the Spanish influence in the architecture.
One of the many birds we have here in the park. The Valley is an area for many migratory birds to settle for the cold months.

We go to this market weekly for fresh produce.

Butch and Esther visited us in our park last week.
The Quilting Bee (club) made snap bags on a day that I was unable to attend, so I got the pattern and made a few on my own machine.
The snap bag gets its name because it snaps shut, with the aid of the mystery product in the top binding.
Just another beautiful scene in our park.

In case you are interested, there is a new editor option for posting to Blogger. If you go to the settings tab, scroll down to "Select post editor" and choose the updated editor. You are able to upload more pictures at one time, and then you have more control of where they are added in your post. There's also a link there that talks about the changes in more detail.

Also, I'm determined to have a quilt top done by the time you are home in March. I haven't touched the one I worked on at the quilt retreat this fall, but I still have high hopes! I don't know what to do once I have the top finished, so I'll definitely need your help then.

Forget about emailing you these things...aren't comments more fun anyway?? :)
